It is a critical time for East Jerusalem.
Amid Covid-19, the actions of settlers and military to evict residents of East Jerusalem put families at extreme risk. For example, in Sheikh Jarrah 60 families are at risk, and are facing mounting costs for legal resistance.
It is critical to provide immediate support to counter through legal resistance, the illegal eviction of families, and protect the children who are at risk of being made homeless in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Support this urgent work of the Civic Coalition for Palestinian Rights in Jerusalem at this time, by providing support for vulnerable families who are doing their best to stay safe, keep their homes and resist the efforts to change the demographics of Al Quds/Jerusalem.
Support a young adult Toronto marathon runner, who will be doing a self-isolation marathon on Friday, May 22, in supporting this cause.
Donations may be made by etransfer to firstname.lastname@example.org or contact us for other arrangements.
You can donate $1, $2, or any amount you choose for each kilometer that he runs in this marathon*, or make a set donation.
