Notice of Intention to Revoke

1. Organization did not devote all its resources to charitable purposes and activities;
2. Failure to maintain proper books and records

Consequences:

1. No longer able to issue donation receipts;
2. Required to pay tax one year from date of Notice to Revoke;
3. No longer qualified as charity for purposes of Excise Act and may be subject to entitlements and obligations under that Act.
   Note in May 23 2013, CRA letter re: audit: Mention of “a second establishment operated in the United States, which was not reported as part of the Organization.”
