Last week Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest arms manufacturer and the industrial arm of its genocide, purchased a Canadian company — British Columbia-based International Submarine Engineering (ISE) Ltd.
Elbit’s purchase of ISE make the stakes incredibly clear: we cannot allow a company that is fueling genocide to operate and profit in Canada. We need the Canadian government to impose an immediate two-way arms embargo on Israel and comprehensive sanctions on Elbit Systems.
Three years into Israel’s genocide, Canada should be cutting off Elbit’s access to our economy— not allowing it to expand.
