The Liberals have introduced a motion in the House to stop debate on Bill C-9, the Combatting Hate Act, at the Justice committee and ram it through Parliament. The House will vote on the motion tomorrow!

We need to remind MPs that there are clear reasons why the bill is still being debated at committee: as it stands, it will violate free expression, criminalize dissent and chill protest. It must be stopped.

WSP, of which the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec is the largest shareholder, was involved in rail projects in Israel that contributed to the colonization of the Occupied Palestinian Territories. The multinational consulting engineering company says it recently sold its operations there, but Pivot has accessed several pieces of information that cast doubt on its departure from the country.
