The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF), in cooperation with Canadian Lawyers for International Human Rights, has alerted Canadian authorities regarding serious concerns over the admissibility of Guy Hochman, a former Israeli combat soldier, stand-up comedian, and online content creator scheduled to perform in Toronto on 19 January 2026.
In parallel, HRF and CLAIHR confirm that they are filing a criminal complaint within the coming days, based on Mr. Hochman’s activities, public statements, and documented association with military propaganda and incitement linked to Israel’s war on Gaza.
URGENT ACTION NEEDED Tell the Government of Canada to deny entry to Guy Hochman and ensure that Canada does not become a safe haven for individuals implicated in war crimes or crimes against humanity.
📨 Send this letter NOW to tell the Canadian government you expect immediate action regarding this individual’s expected visit to Canada, who is reasonably believed to be inadmissible under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA):
It has been widely reported that Hochman, believed to be a commander in Battalion 932 of the Nahal Brigade of the Israel Defense Forces, is expected to enter Canada on or before January 19, 2026 , in order to appear at a comedy event in Toronto.
HRF and its partners reiterate that freedom of expression cannot be used as a shield for military propaganda, incitement to violence, or the normalization of serious international crimes.
