Every two years, CPP is required to hold stakeholder meetings. Israel’s war crimes and genocide, and fossil fuel investments have dominated the concerns raised at the four meetings to date. Congratulations to those in Ottawa, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Halifax and St. John’s who made CPP squirm even if the answers they gave were not addressing the questions and concerns!
Check out the CPP’s response in Halifax. Apparently, CPPIB Rejects Findings by the Canadian Govt, ICJ and UN!
The meetings wrap up next week in Charlottetown and Fredericton. Let’s keep the momentum going, continuing to insist that we do not want our pensions supporting war crimes and genocide.
