Late in the afternoon on Thursday, September 18th, Wilfrid Laurier University (WLU) abruptly cancelled the room booking for a talk on Canada and the Genocide in Gaza, planned for September 19th, citing security concerns. The speakers included retired professor Peter Eglin, author of Analyzing the Israel Effect in Canada: A Critical Autoethnography, and author and NDP leadership candidate Yves Engler.
Please email the university leaders to demand they reinstate the room for the talk tonight (Sept. 19) that was confirmed three weeks ago.
